Understanding Shoulder Pain and Its Basics

The shoulder is a veritably flexible joint that's made up of several tendons, ligaments, and muscles that all work together. Pain can affect injuries, general wear and tear, and several seditious conditions.  Tendinitis: Tendinitis refers to inflammation of a tendon, which are the cords that connect muscles and bones. In the shoulder, tendinitis generally affects the tendons of the rotator cuff or those that connect the shoulder blade to the bicep . Inflammation of these tendons can beget pain around the shoulder joint, and the skin in this area may appear flushed and swollen.    Tendon tearing: Tendons can occasionally resolve or tear. This damage may be partial, or the tendon may fully detach from the bone. A tendon gash can affect injuries, patient overuse, and general wear and gash to the shoulder as a person gets aged.    Functions: The top of the upper arm fits into the glenoid, a round socket in the shoulder blade. A set of muscles and tendons called the rotator cuff keeps t
